I propose an approach to herbal medicine that takes itself seriously enough to know that herbs are strong and they work and can occasionally be dangerous.  Therefore, the patient needs to be educated and empowered to use them correctly.  An herbalist becomes a very useful person to know- lucky for you, you know one.

I offer consultations for those wishing to have my assistance in finding their perfect herbal match.  I know the plants well, and during a consultation I get to know you and your unique health challenges. Then, like an herbal cupid, I fix you up.

Herbal medicine offers a unique opportunity to have as much involvement as you like in your healing process. I facilitate and encourage those that I work with to meet the plants for themselves and I can instruct you how to gather and prepare your own medicine if desired. (Clients have access to my handcrafted teas and tinctures, of course.)  Herbal medicine can be administered in many forms, most commonly I recommend teas and tinctures (liquid herbal extracts), but also capsules, external preparations, steams, or taking a plant home in a pot and tending it.
